Black Forest “Nana” sheep’s wool/Swiss stone pine cushion: In our “Nana” cushion range, we use four of the finest fillings nature has to offer, alongside down.
Our Black Forest collection was inspired by our love for our homeland. We have been manufacturing at our site in Lörrach, on the edge of the beautiful Black Forest, since 1965. In our ‘Nana’ range of cushions, we use not only down but also four of the finest fillings that nature has to offer.
These pillows are made from virgin sheep’s wool (80%) and Swiss stone pine shavings (20%). Virgin sheep’s wool can absorb up to 30 per cent of its own weight in moisture. Warm air is trapped by the natural crimp of the wool, whilst excess heat is dissipated. In this way, ‘Nana’ ensures a dry, perfectly temperature-regulated sleeping environment.
Furthermore, the merino virgin wool is self-cleaning and has antibacterial properties. The Swiss stone pine shavings give off a pleasant woody scent.
