Use your own personal sleeping habits as a guide. A duvet that feels comfortably warm to someone else might already be too warm for you.
Choose the level of warmth that suits your sleeping style
If you often feel cold at night or sleep in a room with a low temperature, a warmer duvet might be worth considering. If you tend to get too warm quickly, it’s worth looking at lighter options. You should therefore take into account not only the season but also the temperature in your bedroom and how warm you feel.
Compare the warmth ratings of the individual products. The fill weight alone is not enough to base your choice on: the filling material and workmanship also affect how a Duvet feels.
