Our ‘Sofia’ natural wool blanket, which is filled with virgin sheep’s wool (70 per cent) and Swiss stone pine shavings (30 per cent), reflects our special connection with nature.
Our Black Forest collection was inspired by our love for our homeland. We have been manufacturing at our site in Lörrach, on the edge of the beautiful Black Forest, since 1965. Our ‘Sofia’ natural fibre blanket, filled with virgin sheep’s wool (70 per cent) and Swiss stone pine shavings (30 per cent), reflects our special connection with nature.
Virgin wool can absorb up to 30 per cent of its own weight in moisture. Warm air is trapped by the natural crimp, whilst excess heat is dissipated. In this way, ‘Sofia’ ensures a dry, perfectly temperature-regulated sleeping environment. Furthermore, the merino virgin wool is self-cleaning and has antibacterial properties.
The Swiss stone pine shavings give off a pleasant, woody scent.
