Description
Black Forest is our collection of the very finest luxury bedding. It combines the highest quality with the utmost comfort and elegant design. Our ‘LARA’ down duvet is filled with 100% white, new Arctic snow goose down. The Arctic snow goose leads a harsh, largely untamed life in temperatures as low as -40°C in winter.
Materials and workmanship
The solid blanket of snow does not begin to break up until towards the end of May. But even the summer climate is cold, harsh and windy. The birds protect themselves perfectly against this cold by growing the world’s largest goose down. This natural protective coat keeps the geese wonderfully warm whilst they are surrounded by ice and snow in polar temperatures.
A fill power of 450 CUIN or above is considered good quality. The down used in our ‘LARA’ duvets has a fill power of 1000 CUIN. This high-quality filling is combined with a cover made from premium satin jacquard featuring an Aloe Vera & Vital Finish, crafted from 100% cotton, thus completing the premium duvet as a whole.
