The luxurious BLACK FOREST AVA down duvets are filled with particularly large-flocked down (100%) from Pomeranian geese, which impress with their exceptional loft. Heavenly lightness, cosy warmth and unrivalled softness ensure the very highest level of sleeping comfort.
Black Forest is our collection of the very finest luxury bedding. It combines the highest quality with the utmost comfort and elegant design. The ‘AVA’ down duvet is filled with large-flock, new, white Pomeranian goose down (100 per cent). The down from Pomeranian snow geese is particularly large and offers optimum loft.
This is primarily due to the very cold climate in which these geese live – the colder the animals’ habitat, the larger their down plumage becomes. The geese live in small flocks, where they are free to roam during the day.
At night, the animals are housed in barns and fed oats. This caring rearing method, combined with the extreme climatic conditions, results in down of a particularly large-flocked quality. This wonderful filling is encased in a soft, fine-weave 100% cotton batiste, finished with aloe vera and Vital Finish.
AVA comprises 5 different warmth ratings, offering the perfect sleeping environment for all sleepers. The quality of the down is measured by its fill power (CUIN). A value of 450 CUIN or above is considered good quality. The down used in our “AVA” duvets has a fill power of 650 CUIN.
